2010 Horse of the Year Zenyatta
Older Males
- Game On Dude: Wins in the Big Cap and Goodwood were stellar and Classic second puts him over the top.
- Tizway: He downed top notch fields in the Met Mile and Whitney. Shame he could stay healthy.
- Flat Out: What happened in the Classic? A win there would have put the Jockey Club Gold Cup champ at the top of the hill.
- Drosselmeyer: If the Classic winner can add the Clark to his collection he could vault his way to the top,.
Three-Year-Old Colts
- Animal Kingdom: I’m so disappointed he couldn’t stay healthy. He was truly a good Kentucky Derby winner.
- Caleb’s Posse: Dirt Mile winner is a monster closer around one turn.
- Stay Thirsty: Travers winner needs to reach his big potential in 2012.
- Ruler On Ice: Belmont winner fought hard to be third in Classic.

Three-Year-Old Fillies
- Royal Delta: She showed who the boss is in the Ladies Classic.
- It’s Tricky: No shame in being second to the top one here. Loved her CCA Oaks win.
- Plum Pretty: No match for the top 2 in the Ladies Classic, but Oaks winner was definitely great in her own right.
- Zazu: Too bad she missed the Breeders Cup. Loved her win in the Lady’s Secret.
Turf Males
- Cape Blanco: Head and shoulders the best. He’s going to make a strong sire.
- Acclamation: I’m not wild about him, but I cant deny his accomplishments.
- Turallure: Lopresti has done wonder with him and was rewarded with a Woodbine Mile win.
- Gio Ponti: Old warrior lost a step or two, but was still good enough to win the Shadwell Mile.
Sprinters
- Amazombie: In the end, he got all the cheese.
- Giant Ryan: He didn’t show up on Breeders Cup day, but you cant deny his body of work.
- Jackson Bend: He found new life at the end of the year.
- Euroears: Another who found new life this year.
